CREATING SUSTAINABLE FINANCING MODELS FOR WOMEN’S ECONOMIC
EMPOWERMENT
The Center for Global Health and Development (CGHD), CRDF Global, U.S. NCI and Development Finance Institutions are hosting a workshop on creating sustainable financing models for women’s economic empowerment in emerging markets. Using CGHD’s platform, the Women’s Health and Empowerment Network (WHEN), will bring together DFIs, private women impact investors, foundations, and health experts to discuss and provide
guided input on case studies that involve investing in women focused or
women-led enterprises in health with a specific focus on women’s cancer surgery and HIV/AIDS.
